Dear Callum,
Sorry for not responding sooner - our email system is really slow. In
any case it's great to hear you're working with McXtrace.
I'll be happy to help but in order to do so - I'm going to need a bit
more information:
- Is your .instr file in directory which contains spaces? This is the
most common cause for these kinds of errors.
if that's not the case we'll start debugging
- On which platform are you running?
- What does your PATH variable contain?
- Could you send me whatever output you get in
from the run window. If on windows this is also the black command prompt
window that opens in the background, in addition to what gets written in
the log area in the mxgui run window.
Apologies for asking you to collect this info - it's just otherwise very
difficult to figure out what is really going on.
