[mcxtrace-users] McStas/McXtrace on Windows: Testers wanted :-)

Hi all,


As you may or may not have spotted, use of the ‘legacy’ MinGW-gcc based installer for Windows is no longer recommended.

To ease the pain of setting up the Microsoft MSVC compiler and tools, a new batch script has been added, see our two install-pages for Windows systems:

https://github.com/mccode-dev/McCode/blob/main/INSTALL-McXtrace/Windows/README.md
(The new script is used in installation-options 1 “conda” and 2 “msvc-bundle")

This installer script has of course been tested as far as possible on all Windows machines that the dev-team currently has access to, but we would very much like feedback on how it performs / fails “in the wild”.
